Zulqarnain Haider to Reveal The Match Fixing Players

Pakistan Ex-Wicket Keeper, Zulqarnain Haider has left a message on facebook that he will reveal the names of those players who were involved in match fixing and spot fixing. He said that he would expose the secrets about match fixing and spot fixing and those who are talking negatively about him.

Another threat has received by his family members. His wife received a threatening phone call in which the caller has intimidated them to face harsh consequences. The called told his wife that he is calling from Greece and caller's accent was in clear Urdu.

Zulqarnain's law adviser suggested him to not to talk to any media, but Zulqarnain has updated this controversial message on his facebook account. It may be recalled, that he was found missing during last Pakistan and South Africa series held in UAE.

Plane Crash at Dalmia - Karachi

A plane crashed at Dalmia - Naval Society, Karachi within 5 minutes of takeoff. It was a Russian manufactured cargo plane. 12 people are reported killed of which 8 were crew staff of plane. The plane was slammed into the buildings of Pakistan Air force and Pakistan Navy residential apartments.

The plane crash happened at 1:45 am. Black Box of the plane was still missing. Four people unfortunately killed due to the crash who were there at the crash spot. Plane came from UAE and it took off to fly to Sudanese capital Khartoum. Plane's crash made a loud explosion. Police and rescue teams got at the site and cordoned off all the paths going to the crash site. People and volunteers there were trying to recover the people from the rubble. The building onto which plane fell is totally demolished. The deceased were labors belonged to Multan.

CAA has started investigation of the plane crash happened on Sunday, November 28, 2010. This is second plane crash incident in the same month and third incident in the last four months. Prior to the current plane crash, an incident took place on November 5, 2010 in Karachi.

Blasts in CID Office Civil Lines, near Chief Minister House Karachi

Severe blast has taken place at CID Office, Civil Lines, near Chief Minister House, Karachi. More than 18 people killed in the blast while 115 reported injured. The blast was so furious that it was heard in many areas of the city. Many buildings in the range of the blast destroyed badly. CID Building has been damaged totally in the result of the blast. 4 security personnel died in the blast who were posted at CID (Central Investigation Department) Building. This building is situated in very high security zone of the city still there a huge blast has occurred.



Blast caused two large craters at the blast spot. Wounded people are being rushed to the hospitals. In the hospitals, emergency has been imposed because of massive number of injured people.

Authorities have made possible the availability of heavy machinery at the blast site for removing rubble.

Eyewitnesses say that before blast, gunshots were fired in that area. And after firing, severe blast exploded. It is also being said that it was a truck which was full of explosives, collided into the CID building and caused the blast.

Still number of dead is not final, it could take many hours to find out the actual number of dead injured. At the time, dead bodies and injured are being moved to Jinnah Hospital. Security Agencies have cordoned off the area.

Zulqarnain Haider Willing to Join Pakistan Team Again

Zulqarnain Haider has said that he is willing to join Pakistan Cricket Team again in condition of security assurance from Pakistan Cricket Board. Right now, he has been issued a temporary identity card by British Government after taking his finger prints. He is in Britain for time being, until his case reaches a decision.

Earlier, he left Dubai silently on morning of 08 November 2010 and appeared in London UK. Zulqarnain Haider said that he was threatened and asked to lose the final one day between Pakistan and South Africa held in Dubai on 08 November 2010. Zulqarnain Haider just left a message on Facebook that he is retiring from Pakistan Cricket Team and went away quietly.

Now, several rumors are circulating regarding Zulqarnain Haider's story. Finally, he said that he is not applying for Asylum. He says, "He is ready to go back to Pakistan if Pakistan Government assures his security. His family is pressurizing him for coming back to home". He said that he is constantly getting threats and that is the reason for his retirement from Pakistan Cricket Team. He also told that he has been investigated by Scotland Yard, Border Security Agency of Britain and British Police. Now any decision about Zulqarnain Haider's residence in Britain is subject to British Interior Ministry.

It may be recalled that he has played one test match and 4 one-day matches for Pakistan Cricket Team yet.

Soyam of Dr. Imran Farooq to be Celebrated Today

Today, in Karachi and Hyderabad, all business centers and markets are closed due to the soyam of Dr. Imran Farooq. Quran Khani held at many places in Karachi and Hyderabad and also in MQM's London Secretariat, UK.

It may be recalled that MQM's exiled leader Dr. Imran Farooq had been killed in London on evening of 16th September, 2010. He was stabbed in head and neck and those wounds were fatal that took him to death. His dead body was brought to Karachi, Pakistan on morning of 6 November 2010 via PIA Flight No. PK 788. A massive number of workers and companions of MQM were there to receive the body. Security Plan for movement of the body from airport to his home in Sharifabad and then to MQM headquarter 90, was planned with foolproof arrangements. Dead body of Dr. Imran Farooq was then moved from his home Sharifabad to 90 Azizabad for funeral ceremony. He was buried in Shohda Graveyard after Namaz e Janaza which was offered behind Moulana Asad Thanvi. Massive number of MQM activists, companions and supporters were there to see him off to his last journey.

During all these activities, no major incident took place and Karachi was almost peaceful.

Australia Beats Pakistan in Super Sixes

Australia beats Pakistan in Final match of Super Sixes Tournament held in Hong Kong. Pakistan bat first and left 133 as target for Australia; it was a huge target and was assumed as difficult to chase. During bowling of Pakistan all was going right but when Imran Nazir was given last over to bowl, he conduced to great loss of Pakistan. In last over he let Kangaroos make 40 runs by giving extras and loose balls and on last ball by a big wide delivery ball crossed the boundary line and Australia made it done.
