Karachi: Violence Still Uncontrolled, Death Toll Reached 18

In Karachi, violence is still uncontrolled as 16 people lost their lives in fresh incidents of firing in several areas. These 16 people including one policemen have been targeted to kill in last 24 hours on 23 and 24 March, 2011.  The policemen was identified as Arshad Kundi, Head Constable, was killed in Sohrab Goth. Other people were killed in several other areas in which Teen Hatti, Maripur, Moosa Lane and some other areas. A bus was torched in Golimar Area after killing of political worker in that area.

An office of a political party was also attacked by grenades, hence no human lives lost in that because office was not open at that time. After this critical situation of the city, people of Karachi are fearful due to the continuous firing and target killing incidents in the city.

In the deceased, there are several activists and supporters of MQM. Farooq Sattar has called a press conference today, requesting President Asif Ali Zardari to take necessary actions against the killers who are involved in target killing of MQM Activists and Supporters. He also said that these terrorists are challenging the writ of President Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi.

Rehman Malik has ordered the Rangers to fully control the Karachi city to cope up the ongoing situation and to maintain the peace in the city.

Libya Under Attack - Allied Forces Launched Strikes

Libya is now under attack by allied forces. French jets launched air strikes on Gaddafi forces in Libya and destroyed several army vehicles and tanks. After the strikes Maummar Gaddafi said that arms will be distributed in a million of people to resist to the attackers. As a result of these attacks, 48 people have been killed while 150 have been injured. Arab League is protesting against the killing of citizens, in air strikes of the alliance. President Barrack Obama has said that these strikes are launched for the safety of Libyan People from Gaddafi Forces.

Libyan Gaddafi forces are retaliating to the strikes whereas the rebels are delighted on the attacks of alliance on Gaddafi forces.

Karachi Violence Continues - 18 Died in 36 Hours

Karachi is once again has been victim of target killing and violence. In 36 hours, 18 people died in several incidents happened in different areas of Karachi. Yesterday the major incident of target killing had taken place in Kharadar where 3 vehicles were torched after murder of a political worker. After that incident, violence broke out in many areas of the city which caused many killings in Karachi.

Still many areas are sensitive and target killing is continued with the wastage of many glorious human lives. In the city, today morning another bus was set ablaze by the provoked group of people in consequence of killing of a worker belonged to a political party. Moreover, in the city, rumors are being spread that pillion riding in Karachi is being banned.

Kamran Akmal Dropping Catches



The fans of Cricket from Pakistan are irresistibly unhappy from Kamran Akmal after losing the match from Newzealand in ICC World Cup 2011. The hero of that match was Rose Taylor who scored a century for Newzealand and played the key role for victory of his team. Match would have gone in the favor of Pakistan if Kamran Akmal did not miss the glorious chances to send Taylor back to the pavilion.
