MQM Decides to Leave Federal Cabinet

Eventually, MQM has decided to discard the government partnership in the center. On Monday December 27, 2010 midnight it was announced from MQM that they are leaving the federal cabinet at first stage. Hence, MQM still remains ally of PPP in Sindh Government. MQM leaders in federal cabinet have offered their resignations to the president. The two resigning leaders include Babar Ghouri and Farooq Sattar. After this development a huge restlessness is obvious in Pakistan Politics.

MQM also declared that if their demands are remained unresponsive, they can step forward to the withdrawal from Sindh Government. MQM still not sitting on Opposition Benches conditioning with the fulfillment of their demands from the ruling party.

JF-17s of PAF Escort Chinese Prime Minister



Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao has departed back to China on Sunday December 19, 2010, after 3 day visit to Pakistan. Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was there at Airport to see him and his delegation off. Additionally, members of federal cabinet and some military and government officers were also present to see Chinese Prime Minister and his delegation off.

Wen Jiabao also met Chinese citizens who are working in several projects in Pakistan, at airport who were also present at airport while his departure. Those Chinese citizens were flying red and green flags at the airport to reflect close ties between Pakistan and China.

Wen Jiabao came Pakistan in the result of invitation of Pakistan Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani. He met in Pakistan with President Asif Ali Zardari, and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, as well as, some other politicians of Pakistan. During his visit to Pakistan, several memorandums and understandings have been signed and planned to put $25 billion Chinese investment into Pakistan in next coming years. In addition, Mr. Wen Jiabao addressed parliament and called on with several people in Pakistan and urged to strengthen the mutual friendship further.


It may be recalled that Chinese Prime Minister Mr. Wen Jiabao was given a VIP welcome by Pakistan Air force. As his plane entered the Pakistan Air Jurisdiction, Pakistan JF-17 Thunder Planes surrounded his plane for his honor and and to present a VIP escort. Four JF-17 planes covered his plane till the landing on Chaklala Airbase, Rawalpindi. It was a unique type of welcome to any guest, in the world history.

Muharram Moon Not Sighted

Muharram moon not sighted on the night of December 6, 2010. From all parts of the country, none of witness was received regarding sighting of moon. Therefore 1st Muharram will be on December 8, 2010 and Youm e Aashur will be celebrated on December 17, 2010 accordingly.

Australia Beats Pakistan in Super Sixes

Australia beats Pakistan in Final match of Super Sixes Tournament held in Hong Kong. Pakistan bat first and left 133 as target for Australia; it was a huge target and was assumed as difficult to chase. During bowling of Pakistan all was going right but when Imran Nazir was given last over to bowl, he conduced to great loss of Pakistan. In last over he let Kangaroos make 40 runs by giving extras and loose balls and on last ball by a big wide delivery ball crossed the boundary line and Australia made it done.

Pakistan Army - Cambrian Patrol Winners



Tigers of Pakistan Army have won the gold medal in the toughest soldiers namely "Cambrian Patrol" held in Wales, UK. In that event many contestant armies from all around the world were there. Major armies in that were USA, Australia, Canada, UK and India. Pakistan Soldiers proved themselves to be toughest and determined wherever they are competed.

Cambrian Patrol is the premier patrolling event inclusive of hardest exercises for testing army toughness. This exercise includes leadership, teamwork, physical fitness, and mission completion. It is conducted in Britain by British Army. Competition this year was held from October 8, to October 17, 2010. 750 soldiers from many countries participated in patrolling. Pak Army beaten all 750 soldiers and proved them to be impeccable and the men at their best.
