MQM Decides to Sit on Opposition Benches

MQM eventually has decided to sit on opposition benches. Decision was taken in simultaneously held meeting of MQM Coordination Committee in London and Karachi. MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has verified this decision. MQM leaders has announced that we cannot support wrong decisions of the government so we have decided to oppose the government and from tomorrow MQM will sit on opposition benches in National Assembly and Senate.

In the meeting of MQM Coordination Committee, it was seriously considered that the huge hike in the petrol price should be opposed and MQM does not agree on this issue with the government. Although, there were many other issues on which MQM has opposed government policies but the main cause is the recent hike of prices in the petroleum products.

Later this announcement, prime minister Mr. Yousuf Raza Gilani talked to media and said that government will have no effect after the separation of allies. Moulana Fazl ur Rehman separated from the government earlier and now MQM has declared to sit on opposition benches; Gilani said that government is still stable and neither of any effort will succeed to fail the government.

Now, Pakistan Political situation has become very vague and no one knows what is the political setup of Pakistan in the coming days.
